Pune girl raped, two Army men detained

Pune: Two soldiers of the Rajputana Rifles regiment of the Indian Army have been detained for allegedly raping a 19-year-old girl in Pune

The teenager, a college student, was allegedly raped on the night of April 7. The jawans have been identified as Rajnish Kumar Suresh Chandra and Sundar Singh Mahipalsingh.

Police say they have not arrested the two Armymen and are waiting for the girl's medical report. The case was registered with Sanghvi police station in Pune on Thursday night.

The sizzling Bollywood actress Deepika has signed the role opposite Salman Khan in the forthcoming film Partner 2.

After Bollywood’s King Khan, the lady will now be seen with handsome hunk Salman Khan in the sequel of partner.

She has been chosen as a lead actress in the movie. Deepika will also be seen with Hrithik Roshan in the sequel of the film Krissh.

Confirming the news, she stated, “Salman Khan is one of the best looking actors in the film industry and I love the way he performs on the screen as well. It will be good fun to work with him.”

One of the suicide bombers believed to be responsible for Monday's deadly attacks on the Moscow subway was the 17-year-old widow of a Muslim insurgent leader from the Caucasus mountains of Dagestan, a Russian newspaper reported today.
The Kommersant newspaper published a photograph of Dzhennet Abdurakhmanova posing with a handgun. A man with his arm around her, also holding a gun, is identified as Umalat Magomedov, whom the paper describes as a militant leader killed by government forces in December.
The picture was sent to Moscow police, together with biographical details about Abdurakhmanova, by Dagestan's ministry of internal affairs, Kommersant said.
Police investigating the blasts, which killed 39 people and injured 70, believe Abdurakhmanova was one of the two female bombers, according to the Russian newspaper Kommersant.
Abdurakhmanova is thought to have carried out the first suicide attack, which killed more than 20 people at Lubyanka subway station, Kommersant said. The identity of the second attacker at Park Kultury station is not yet known.
